Question: Air Conditioner

When I turn on the air (push the button) and put on inside circulation and put the fan on 2 and up the A/C button turns off and it switches to outside circulation and warm air starts blowing.
I have had the control panel replaced 4 times. I am being told once again it needs to be replaced. I bought this car new and within a year the control panel was replaced. About 9 months later the same problem started, once again it was replaced. When it starts turning off I just keep pushing the button until there is no cool air at all and I am forced to hear the control panel needs to be replaced. This has 13 years.
I live in Texas and need an air conditioner, I am also on a fixed income and cannot afford to have this panel replaced every 6-9 months, please any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a weak part on this car.... You could have the compressor wired to a hard switch and bypass the control module. It would need to be wired properly so that the fans kick on and it only works if the cars running etc...

Other than that I don't have other suggestions for you...

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
