Question: Alarm system

The car will not start because the alarm thinks it's still on- it just won't turn over. Is this an easy problem to reverse?

I'm not sure. If it won't crank, it is possible the battery or starter has an issue. You will need the starting system checked to see what is happening.

Most factory alarm systems don't act the way you are describing when they disable the ignition.
