Question: Amount of oil

I have installed a 215 v8 in this MGB. This engine came out of a 62 or 63 Buick ,I think. I need to know what type and what amount of oil should be used in this engine. I always change the filter so what would be the amount I need. The dip stick is not for this engine.

Most old V8 take 5 Quarts. But that mite take more. You really need to get the right dip stick for the engine. But 5 Quarts should get you buy for now. I wouls use a 10/30w oil for the car.
