Question: Amount of oil and type

This car has a 215 v8 installed but I need to know the amount and the type of oil that should be used in this engine. I always change the filter so what amount is needed with a filter change. This engine came out of a 61,62 or a 63 Buick or Tempest ,I think, but I am not sure. This is an aluminum block v8 .
