Question: Any Ideas?

I unlocked my trunk the other day and my alarm went off (I was surprised considering I never use it). Anyway, I cut it off by unlocking the driver side door because my keyless remote no longer works. When I started my car, none of my gauges, turn signals, or mileage were working and my car keeps flashes low fuel. You can still see turn signals on the outside of the car and the lights and everything work perfectly fine. I checked my fuses and they are good. I unhooked my battery and hooked it back up and that didn't help. Any ideas? Also, this has happened before where the alarm has gone off and I turned it off by unlocking the door. Nothing went wrong that time.

Is it a factory alarm or aftermarket? Probably an issue with the alarm unit itself.
