Question: Are there any reports of wiper problems?

I have an intermittent problem with the wipers. Sometimes they stop in any position. When this happens I usually end up with only high speed on the wipers. After a while things return to normal and the problem may not reappear for weeks. Local garage just replaced the motor and the issue remains.

Did they replace the wiper pulse circuit board with the motor? GMs had issues with the circuit board (which mounts directly onto the motor) losing the park position connection. It's about a $50 part from the dealer as I remember.

And I believe it was still used until 2005 (but I'm not 100% sure)

If you google "GM wiper pulse circuit board" I'm sure you can find a picture and even a youtube video showing how to change it. It is a simple repair.

I checked with the garage and they said the circuit board was replaced as well. They installed a whole motor assembly.

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
