Question: Auto transmission maintenance

my 100,000 transmission service is coming up do you recommend the newer suck out change and flush method or drop the pan the old way.

Is sythetic fluid worth it or recommended at this age of the Yukon

How long do these GM transmissions last?

Dropping the pan is necessary to replace the filter (which is NECESSARY). Synthetic fluid does seem to last longer, but it's a debatable topic since you still need to have it serviced to replace the filter.
