Question: B1000, C1310, P3107 Codes
Hi,
I have a Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited (2008). I have a special electric failure. After ignition blinks up a check message (Check Hybrid System) after 1-2 sec. blink up other 2 check messages (Check VSC System and Check SRS Airbag System). These messages are still on underway.
I have changed the 12 V battery 3 or 4 times! Now I have a BOSH, 45 Ah, 330 acc 12 V battery, but I have tried a 60 Ah, 510 acc battery too. For a while everything was ok, but after 1-2 days the failure came back again.
I don't know, what is an original 12V battery for this car? Maybe this car needs a special 12 V battery (original Toyota from Japan)?
My dealer says, the diagnostic doesn't shows any trouble...only a communication problem with the SRS Airbag System.
DTC Codes: B1000, C1310, P3107
I have read in US forums, it could be a voltage failure (low or high voltage).
It's a very interesting failure.... If I shift the automatic transmission into "D" during the system check process after ignition, only the Check Hybrid System message blinks up. After deleting this message, everything works fine.
If I waiting for the system check process - in position "P" - the Check Hybrid System blinks up, and after 1-2 sec the other 2 messages (VSC, SRS). But in this case works the hybrid system and the VSC system well.
The Automatic Cruise Control isn't work in this case....
I'm afraid, the HV Battery breaks down...
If you have an Idea, please contact me!
Thank you for your help.

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
