Question: battery not holding charge

my 02 santa fe battery is not holding a charge even after i replaced the altternator i have replaced the battery once already so what am i missing

If there's a short in a component or wiring, the small load will drain a car battery overnight or in a few hours. It's called parasitic draw, and here is some info on how to test for it:
