Question: Brake Caliper replacement

My rear passenger side caliper is locking up creating a very high pitched grinding sound while driving. Talked to my mechanic today and he said I should change the rear rotors, rear calipers, and rear brake hoses all together. Should I follow this advice or do I not need new rotors/hoses?

Depends on if the rotors are overheated from the caliper sticking. If they are, they should be replaced as well. As to the hoses, many times they break down internally and can be the cause of pressure being held on the caliper (which cause it to stick/stay applied) Replacement of the hoses is a good idea, but not completely necessary. At 100K miles, I might recommend it so you won't have to do the job twice.
