None of the turn signals work when you turn on the turn signal switch? Neither of the brake lights work when you step on the brake? The bulbs do flash when you turn on the hazard switch?

Check the fuses first. Then, there is a switch for the brakes at the brake pedal that you can check. You should also verify that the bulbs for the brake lights are good.

For the turn signals, check the switch for power going out when you activate the turn signals.

A wiring diagram will help you know which wires to test, you can find one in a repair manual, available from a parts store.
