Question: Brake / Power Steering FLUSH

Last Flush Service was 2009, How often (years) should be done, I am retire now and driving average 1200 miles a year.

I don't recommend flushes in general. Especially if you are not having any issues. The brakes should be bleed when you service the pads or shoes, or replace a component, but other than that shouldn't normally need service. Same is true of the power steering system.

Brake fluid is hygroscopic (absorbs moisture for the air) so some shops recommend flushing it every two or so years, but in my experience, it really doesn't need it as long as the system remains sealed.
