Question: brake system light

I would appreciate any help.
A few days ago, while I was stop at a bank drive thru, The check brake system light started blinking and beeping. It went off when I started driving. Now when I start the car the brake system, abs, and gas cap light come on. Then it will go off the next time I start the car. Sometimes it doesn't start on first try. This morning all the lights were on , plus the odometer display was off. I have a 2004 Ford Taurus.
I have taken it to a mechanic twice and he says he can't tell me anything because when he has it, none of the lights are on.

Have the battery and charging system tested.

When battery voltage gets low, all sorts of strange things happen, including multiple dash lights illuminating.

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
