Question: Brakes making hollow whistling sound.

I have a 2002 Toyota Sequoia when I put in reverse and apply the brakes it makes a very low to a very loud hollow whistling sound. Someone suggested change brake pads so I had the front and rear changed out and it is still making that loud noise. Any ideas what it could be.

Did you have the rotors replaced or resurfaced at the same time? Have you had the ebrake mechanism checked? You might just need tot take it in for a proper diagnoses on the noise... shouldn't be a big problem for a good tech to figure out.
