Question: Broken windshield washer fluid lever

My windshield washer fluid lever on the side of the steering wheel has broken and is stuck forward. It can be moved back to its original position but it comes forward on its own. I can see that some of the plastic around the base of the lever is broken. How hard is it to replace this? I'm a decent mechanic as long as I have something to learn from.

I'd need to see the vehicle to figure it out, but it is probably part of the turn signal switch and the steering wheel may need to be removed to replace it.

There are probably online sources with instruction guides on the internet. Google "free online repair guides" and you should be able to find some service information.

If you need a step by step procedure, you will have to buy a service manual for the vehicle.

Also check youtube as many people have posted videos of simple repairs
