Question: brown sugar in my gas tank

some one put brown sugar in my fuel tank , didnt no it until i was down the street and my car stalled out, so i thought the battery died so i tried and tried to re start it .then my brother told me that the gas tank i used had a whole bag of brown sugar and water in it. so hes taken the gas tank off flushed all the pipes. i had seen the brown sugar in all the pipes except for the the pipe the connects from the fuel filter to the fuel injectors . so my question is should the car be ok

Flush the tank, lines, replace the fuel filter. It may need a new pump and pump filter also.
