Question: Can I change a heli-coil?

There is a heli-coil in cylinder 5,the cylinder is hitting the spark plugs that go to this van, we put a shorter one in and its still not getting the right spark, the check engine light went off when i first changed , now its back on , i want to know how to proceed, not sure if we could change the heli-coil or not

You can change the heli coil. But I would check the compresion i that cylinder. If the plug it the piston. The piston could be cracked.
