Question: can tries make a transmission blow after 1100 miles?

I just had my transmission rebluit and a 1100 mile later it is shot. The shop I took it to is well known and recommend by everyone I talked to. I am a younge female and picked it up myself and on the warrenty they put I needed new tries. I didnt think anything of it, I pland on getting new ones for wintter. However it blew after 1100 miles and I cant get it fix because I havent gotten new tries. my tries are worn down but not shoot and I was woundering if they could really make a trans blow this soon? I do have a 10,000 mile warranty but it is voided buecaseu of the tries.

Unless it is an all wheel drive vehicle, the tires shouldn't effect the transmission.operation.

And unless the warranty specifically states tires are required for the warranty to be valid, I doubt they can void the warranty due to worn tires.

If that is what the shop is telling you, I would call you local Bureau of Automotive Repair (in California) or similar agency in your state see what rights you have.
