Question: Can you help me with a steering noise

My 2002 GMS Sierra 1500 has a roaring type noise that sounds louder when I slow down and turn the wheel to the left. I have been told my wheel bearings are fine and just had brand new tires put on. My power steering pump is leaking around the seals it appears. Could this be it? It seems to handle the road fine and I do not seem to have any play in the steering...tiny bit if any.

Could be the pump. You need a shop to isolate where the noise is coming from to determine what is the cause.
