Question: can't remove top nut on master cylinder

HAVING TROUBLE REMOVING THE TOP NUT ON A 2000 93 SAAB, JUST CAN'T GET TO IT,,,ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Is it a bolt holding the master cylinder to the firewall? What type of tool have you tried using? Have you tried a socket wrench? Have you tried soaking it in penetrant for a while?
