Question: Car constantly draining battery

Hey there - we have had our car in to a mechanic multiple times without finding a solution that works. There is something on our car that is constantly draining the battery. If I start the car and make a short drive, say 3-5 minutes and then stop the car, it won't start again. It turns over and over but you can see that it is struggling and then eventually it just clicks over.

We have had to remove the radio. We can't use the seat warmers or anything else that might drain the battery. The mechanics have still not found any answers as to why this is happening. :(

You don't have the choice on the drop down menu - but it's an Opel Zafira elite series from 2002 (I live in Europe)

If it cranks after the drive, but starts clicking fairly quickly, I'd suspect a weak battery as it should be able to crank for a while.

Also if it is hard to start, I'd suspect a weak crank position sensor or ignition module. Low fuel pressure (bad pump) could also cause this, but is a little less common; but it does happen.

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
