Question: Car doesn't have much power

Feels Like>> Vehicle is sluggish>> When I need passing power and press the accelerator to the floor>> Yes>>

Replaced air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, EGR as well. Car drives, speed of 0-20pmh accelerates normally, but at 30mph acceleration is very slow, and car sounds "tinny." Almost motor scooterish. Replaced EGR, and ran car with sensor not attached, and no different. This morning the car threw a 1404 code when my engine light finally came on.

When in park, maintaining pressure on the accelerator you can hear/feel the car not having power as well. Could this be a vacuum issue? It def looks/feels/sounds like an intake problem.

All hoses and fluids are in good condition and at good levels.

You have a plugged exhaust. I would take it to a muffler shop andhave them test the exhaust back pressure. Most shops do it for free. If that is ok. You will need to test the fuel pressure. It should be 40psi.

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
