Question: Car has been sitting. What should I do?

I just bought a 2000 Dodge Durango with 164k miles 4x4. The previous owner advised me the was has been sitting for 1.5 years. I purchased the vehicle and drove it home. It seems to be running fine. What should I do to ensure maximum performance and prevent any possible damamge to the vehicle?

Sitting can be hard on a vehicle. All maintenance procedures you can think of are recommended (change fluids, flush systems, replace belts/hoses). Here's an article with some more ideas:
