Question: Car makes a sputtering sound when starting up

The car sputters when you start it, but it doesn't always do that - I'm afraid to drive it very far for fear it won't start up again. The last time it did this I killed it and started it again with no problems. What could be causing this? Also, curious on what repair manual to use for this thing?

Your vehicle looks like it’s still under warranty. I would recommend taking it in and having the dealer look at it.

It may be a simple PCM reflash to fix it.

Since the vehicle is so new, you probably would need to buy the factory service manual if you want a repair manual for it. Or you could buy a single vehicle yearly subscription to Alldata.com or Mitchell's on Demand. I think they are around $30 or $40 a year.
