Question: car overheating at stops. advise

radiator cap replaced,thermostat replaced. car likes to overheat when at stops or sits in drive for a few mintues. I made sure air pockets where all out.

Check the radiator for blockages and that the water pump is circulating the coolant. You can put your hand on the radiator fins, it should feel evenly hot with no cold spots (cooler at the bottom than the top). Cold spots indicate blockages. And you should be able to see the coolant flowing through the radiator when the engine is warm and the cap is off.
