Question: car vibrates on applying brakes at high speeds

at a speed of 140 or above whenever the brakes are applied the car and steering vibrates like anything wheel balancing and alignment duly checked please help me

Sounds like warped brake rotors. The rotors will need to be turned or replaced to correct this problem. I'd recommend having a full brake inspection just to make sure the pads aren't worn out as well.

Hopefully you mean 140 Kilometers per hour and not miles. in general, the higher the speed the more heat that is generated in the brakes to slow the vehicle, so a slight warp issue at low speeds, becomes a big issue at higher speeds.
