Question: car wont start??!?

This morning i get into my car with a manual trans. i start it up.. sit the for a second.. start to take off and it dies.. then i try turning the key over again and nothing ... the lights dont even come on when i trun it over?? and suggestions??

When you tried to turn the key over again, you heard nothing. That's a good sign there's a problem with the starter circuit (battery, cables, starter, etc). Here's a guide to troubleshooting which one of those is causing the problem:
