Question: Cars slave cylinder

slave cylinder has slipped out and it only goes into gear when the shifter goes toward the back of the car (2nd,4th,6th reverse).


Would this make it do it? How do I fix it? And how much?

Sounds like either the shift housing or the hydraulic clutch system is having a problem. It could be the shift itself as well.

You probably will need someone to diagnose it for you. You can estimates for repairs in our Repair cost Calculator section, but without knowing the root cause, they won't be very accurate.
