Question: CD player/radio, keyless remote, and inside lights stopped working after getting body work done

I took my car to a body shop to repair a dent on my hood where a guy backed into me. When I got my car back the radio/cd player, inside lights, and remote control didn't work. I complained to the body shop and they said to get it looked at and if they caused the damage they would cover it. It all worked perfectly before I took it to them. They said they checked the fuse for me after I complained and they said the fuse was good.

It is common to have electrical problems after having body work done. Electrical systems are complicated and the guys that work in body shops are not trained to fix them. Bring it to a mechanic that is capable of doing electrical diagnostics and explain what happened. They will be able to determine if the problem was caused by the bodywork, and then you can go back to the body shop and ask them to cover it.
