Question: Check Engine Light

Just bought the car and it has 122k miles. We drove i off the lot of the dealer and within 3 or 4 miles of driving the check engine light came on. I heard somewhere that the light can come on when you have to do the 120k maintenance. Is this true?

No. The check engine light is for the sensors on the engine. Not a maintance. You need to take it back to the dealer and have them fix it for free.
