Van idles with vac line unhooked
93 chevy van have to unplug the map vac line to get it to idle where do I start

it runs but will not idle, but it will idle if i unhook the map sensor vaccum line
it will not idle with map sensor vaccum line on, and runs when driving with no power wants to stall, with sensor vaccum line off it idles but still runs poorly whaen driven.
