Question: Chrome Window Sill Accent Oxidization

Hi,

My Chevy Cruze has some bad oxidization on the passenger side window sill accent. I have tried Mothers Metal Polish, Weanol, Turtle Wax Metal Polish, WD-40, and Steel Wool. None of these worked on the oxidization. My car is only 8 months old so does my warranty cover this? If not is there any way to remove the oxidization without replacing it?
