Question: Clunking sound from transmission

Yesterday when I started my subaru and it was in its high rpm cycle it was making loud thunking noises. when it finished its cycle and dropped to a lower rpm there was an especially loud thunk and the sound went away.

I would have the trans looked at by a trans shop. With out hearing the noise I could not tell you what it is.
