Question: Clutch Pedal get stuck near floor board and does not come up smoothly. It does not happen very ofent

after about 20 minute drive and switch off the engine and wen starting once you depress the clutch upto the floor board and crank the engine some times engine does not start..This does not happen very often.when it happens you can see clutch pedal does not move smoothly and get stuck near floor board.When depress and release 3 ,4 times again it moves freely and engine starts normally. Please advise.VW Jetta TDI 2008/2009 model

You need to see if the master cylinder is leaking. That would give you your problem. You have to get under the dash to check the master cylinder is leaking. The rod going into the master cylinder is where you want to look.
