Question: codes 440 mass airflw?, 325 knock1, 330knock2

i just had both knock sensors replaced. It ran fine for about a week and has slowly gotten worse(idiling up n down, drives very slow). Someone hooked it up to the computer and now both knock sensors codes, plus the code 440 came up . is it the mass airflow sensor? and why would both knock sensors show back up?

P0440 Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction

this indicates a leak (or loose gas cap) in your evap system. here is a link to specifics on this code.

The knock codes indicate and issue with the knock sensor circuits. If you've replaced the sensors, you probably have an electrical or PM issue.

The surging sounds like the vehicle may be running lean. (and a defective MAF could cause that...but so can a lot of other things) Start with your tune up items.
