Question: coolant leak

I have a 99 olds cutlass, the termp light keeps coming on and I have to add coolant regulary, I took to a mechanic they said there was no leaks but put on a new overflow bottle, I thought that was the problem because the lid never screwed on tight on the old one, but even after it was replaced, my light still comes on and I am still adding coolant.

You have a leak for sure. You need to go find a different shop to fix it. If the engine keeps over heating you could blow a head gasket.
