Question: Coolant leaking...

Hi! The coolant warning light went on about a week ago, and the car overheated today at 260. Went out and bought coolant to try to replace it, but it just leaked out. What could be the problem? How much would it be to fix it? How long will it take to fix (I will need to rent a car if it is more than a day)?

There are many components that could be leaking coolant. The cost of parts and difficulty of repair will vary greatly depending on what's failed.

Take it in and have it diagnosed. Rent a car if it's going to take a while.
