Question: Cost for a repair

I was traveling out of state. Cardd had bad sound. Went to Toyota dealer. Replace Transfercase-$1050(part) and Automatic transmission-$2879(remanufact. cost) and labor of $1983. I have already had this repair done at that time-6wks ago. AS I lool at part prices on line now- this seems excessively high. Do you have an opinion about these costs? thank you
