Question: crankshaft position sensor replacement

How do I go about replacement? I believe it's located behind the a/c compressor, but It is in a very tight place...do I have to remove the a/c, and does this leak refrigerant? Any help would be much appreciated

You can probably unbolt the AC compressor but leave the lines in place.
