Question: Cruise and temputure gauge wont work

Cruise and temperature gauge wont work if one is working the other is if one isn't working the other isn't Remote start wont work I have a foul smell coming from the exhust

The most important issue (potentially) is the temp gauge. Focus on eliminating that one first. Is the engine overheating, or is it just the gauge? You can check the cooling system using an external thermometer to tell. If the engine is not overheating, the problem is either the temp gauge sending unit, the dash gauge or the wiring/connections in between.
