Question: Curb check
My mom's boyfriend makes alligator turns and he happened to hit a curb in the parking lot last night, because when he did his alligator turn he was on the wrong side of the road. He was probably going about 10 - 15mph. The rim got bent, and whenever you turn you can hear the wheel leaking air. We took it up West St to Merchants Auto, they did what they could, but they were about to close so yakno how that is. They didn't charge us anything and said that it shouldn't leak anymore but were gonna need a new tire(I heard the man say tire but my mom's boyfriend says its just the rim). When the man brought the car up to the front of the shop, you could hear it leak from inside. We just got back from the hospital, eating lunch with my Mom, and the tired usually only leaks when you turn left, but as we came closer to the hotel it started leaking as we were driving straight, and it leaked when we turned right once. My mom's boyfriend is gonna go to a junk yard tomorrow, and see if he can find a rim to put on it. I don't trust him at all, because he thinks he knows a lot more than he actually does, so I kinda wanted your thoughts on it, if you could. Please and thank you.
