Question: dash board back lights out/ run light out?

when i remote start my turck everything works untill i hit the break to put the truck in gear (after inserting the key and putting it in the run position) all the dash board back lights go out and the raido and air control lights as well as the run lights go out. if i key my truck none of these lights will come on at all

Where your remote starter is tapped in is causing your problem. I would have the shop that put it in look at it.
