Question: dash board lights

The lights on the dash board starts to blink
and the speedometer-tachometer-heat gauge
goes crazy and stops the light on the dash
board goes off but the car is still running.
I've taken it in done diagnostic testing &
they can't find anything wrong...this happen
quiet frequently lately...

Very possible that it is a communication failure. The instrument panel may be losing communication with one or all of the other on board modules (computers). When you have it checked, make sure the shop checks ALL the modules for codes, not just the one that is having the problem. Many times another module (or several) will store fault data for other modules that are having problems.

The other possibility that comes to mind is the ground is weak or bad for the instrument cluster. Those need to be checked and verified good as well.
