Question: Do i Fix a random flashing light on my dash?

the "D" for drive keeps flashing randomly whenever i start the car. can't tell if it is causing anything to happen, but most of the lights on the other buttons are gone - for A/C, vents, etc. shop says it'll cost $300 labor just to take the front panel out to replace bulbs. too expensive! But will this lead to other electrical problems if I leave it?

The flashing light indicates a transmission problem. You need to have the codes pulled from the transmission computer to see what is causing the light.

Also check your transmission fluid level as low fluid can cause the light to come on.
