Question: Do I need to replace my battery?
95 dodge ram 1500. Sometimes when I go to start it you can hear the engine crank but it wont turn over unless I jump it and once its started it runs perfectly fine. It has never shut off while I'm driving and all my lights and radio work fine, even when the engine isn't turning over. It's not that the battery is completely dead, because like I said it sounds like its going to start, it doesn't do the clinking thing or whatever. Also, it doesn't happen every time I got to start the truck its random. but has been happening more often then it used too. Since yesterday afternoon I have had to jump it 3 times. Originally I was just going to replace my battery but I was told that it could also be my alternator or my starter. I don't have the money to spend on things I don't need to so I would just like to know what the issue is? Please and thank you.
