Question: Do I really need to have a sealer between my timing belt cover and engine block?
I have a 2001 Honda Accord Ex 4 cylinder with 128K miles. I recently go my timing belt and water pump replaced. My honda dealer noticed that there was no sealer/sealant rubber between the engine block and the timing belt cover. Is it really necessary to have this sealer?
