Question: egr valve inlet tube removal

I replaced the egr valve, and service engine light is still on. I was told the inlet tube may be the problem. Where does the the other end of the inlet tube connect to?

EGR (exhaust gas recirculation), the other end connects to the exhaust manifold. Usually the tube is routed under the intake manifold and it looks tricky to get to. You may be able to find a description of the procedure in the online repair manuals (free) on the autozone.com website. And allowing the bolts to sit with penetrant on them for a while will help with their removal.
