Question: electric seat keeps sinking

after about 10 minuets of driving seat slowly sinks down and has to be reset into position. 10 minuets later, I reset again. And on and on.

It could be that the motor that holds the seat into place is worn out causing you problem. I would have the seat motor replaced.

Doe's this mean there is only one motor for all postions?
If so,,,this woud make it much easyer to replace, rather than differant motors
for each position,,,IE up-down,,,forward-back....tilt ect.

Thanks!!!!

Sorry there is a motor for each position. But it's really easy to tell which one is bad. Just move the seat and feel the motor.

Good idia, for there is actually just two positions that keep loosing position. (up.,,,down n whole
seat tilt forward n back. If the motors are all the same,,,maybe I'll just switch motors that are not used. What ya think?

Thanks again!

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
