Question: Electrical problem,

My neighbor woke me up and informed me that a buzzing sound was coming from my Tercel, and that the headlights were on. The car had not been driven in four days, and the light switch was off. I started the car and it started easily, however when I shut the ignition off the lights remained on with the strange buzzing noise. I unhooked the battery until I could come up with a solution. Can anyone steer me in the right direction, because I am totally mystified.

I would start by relpacing the head light switch.
