Question: Engine noise

Have 81K have done most oil changes myself every 4 to 5 k. Can not understand the noise which sounds like tappets from the valves.II used 5/30 oil since car was new. Should I change to hi mileage oil?

That seems to be a normal noise for those engines, and changing the oil doesn't help. Here's a forum with some discussion on it:
